This is the first of a new series from “Teensville” called “Artist Spotlight” where we feature hits and rarities by artist(s) of the 60s. This package focuses mainly on Lesley Gore with tracks recorded between 1964 and 1969 but with 2 fantastic bonus tracks recorded in the 70s and 80s that have NEVER been released. The major attraction of this package is the many first time to cd master mixes and also some very rare stereo mixes from the Mercury vaults. Amazingly, the collector can hear the chatter at the end of “Look of Love;” this is also the original single mix not issued on cd before. We also feature 2 of Lesley’s biggest hits “You Don’t Own Me” and “Judy’s Turn To Cry” in Italian (with more studio chatter.) This is a refreshing collection of Lesley Gore goodies with mostly rare stereo mixes never before issued on cd, which makes it a must for fans of 60’s pop, girl groups and of course, Lesley Gore. 15 of the tracks are in glorious STEREO with a fantastic 12 Page Booklet with notations of each of the tracks and recording details.
